IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW |
|
| PROHIBITED |
- No fireworks or firecrackers allowed.
- No non-toy guns of any kind (includes BB & paintball) and no bows/arrows.
- No 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, or mini motorcycles. You may have battery-operated toys, scooters, or golf carts
- No smoking in cabins, shelter house, general store, or swimming pool

| FIREWOOD & FIRE RINGS |
- You may bring in your own firewood.
- Firewood is for sale in general store for $5/load. A load consists of 10-12 pieces delivered to your site.
- Moving fire rings is prohibited and will result in a $25 fine per occurrence
|
| CONDUCT |
- We are a family campground and want to ensure that everyone’s stay is pleasant.
- Distasteful public display of affection is not allowed. Foul language is prohibited.
- Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Radios should be played loud enough for your site to hear-not sites around you. Radios off at quiet time.

| ALCOHOL |
- Alcohol is permitted by legal drinking aged adults. If you must leave your site with alcohol in your hand, it must be covered (koozie, colored cup, thermal mug, etc.). NO KEGS ALLOWED.
- Drunk, loud, obnoxious behavior, or fighting is not tolerated.
- You may not use alcohol as an excuse as to why you ruined someone else’s camping vacation!

| PARKING |
- One (1) vehicle per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas.
|
| PETS |
- Friendly pets are welcome. No Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes, Rottweilers, Chows, or any aggressive dogs.
- Pets must be on a leash or contained at all times (except in our Bark Park).
- Pets must be picked up after-even at your site. They can not be tied up in direct sun for long periods of time.
- Dogs that are barking constantly may be asked to exit the park. Please don’t bring your pet if you think he/she may ruin someone else’s relaxing weekend!
- Cabin guests must have pet approved when making reservation.

| WILDLIFE |
- Autumn Lakes is situated on 64 acres of woods, creek, and ponds. There is a chance you may encounter our beautiful wildlife.
- Catching our frogs and turtles is prohibited
- Teasing or throwing rocks at our ducks, geese, or farm animals in the petting corral is prohibited
- Raccoons and skunks are attracted to your yummy smelling trash! Keeping it out all night will attract them.
- If you encounter a night critter that frightens you, please just walk away

| CHILDREN |
- Parents are responsible for their children’s actions.
- Children are not allowed to play in outhouses or shower houses.
- Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during your stay.
- Kids must be back at their own campsite by 11:00.

| REFUNDS |
- No refunds whatsoever for inclement weather, early check out, family crisis, illness, schedule changes, personal, etc. We have a limited number of overnight camping sites and even smaller number of cabins which causes us to book up quickly.
- We have turned other families away in order to hold the site for you.
- Autumn Lakes is a privately owned campground and we reserve the right to remove any guest or revoke privileges for any reason at any time with no refund whatsoever.

| FISHING |
- Private. No fishing license required.
- Catch and Release ONLY. No minnows, buckets, or liners allowed.
- Ponds are stocked with: Catfish, Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie
- No catching of frogs or turtles.

| SECURITY |
- Security cameras are in use and placed throughout the park.
- Security gate is closed at all times and needs a security code or card to enter park.
- Autumn Lakes representatives make “rounds” throughout the day and late evening to monitor sites.
- Our phone is manned all night long. No matter what the time, you can call our office with any issue.
- 911 emergency phone located outside of general store.
- Delaware County Sheriff’s office and Porter Township Fire all have a special security code and have access at all times to the park.

2012 RESERVATION POLICIES |
| RESERVING |
- We begin taking reservations for the season on January 1st via web site or camp phone (740- 625-6600).
- Must be 18 years of age to rent a campsite. Must be 21 years of age to rent a cabin.
- An email confirmation will be sent for holiday weekends only.

| DEPOSIT & PAYMENT |
- A deposit of one night’s rate is required to reserve a campsite or cabin.
- No personal checks accepted unless it’s being written for the deposit at least 2 weeks prior to check in.
- Forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Cash
- Balance of stay is due at check in.
- Store purchases must total $5.00 or more.

| ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE |
- Check in is 1-9 and check out is 12:00 for both campsites and cabins.
- Early check-in and late departures are $5.00 per hour up to 3 hrs and depend on site availability. No early check-in or late departure for cabins.
- No check-in after 9:00 PM

| RATES |
- Camping rates are based on ONE family of 5 consisting of one set of parents and up to 3 of their minors.
- Two families cannot share one site. Extra adults on site are considered visitors and must pay overnight visitor fee. No more than 3 overnight adults.
- No more than 7 people on a site overnight. This includes small children as well.
- No more than 3 adults may spend the night on one site.

| MINIMUM STAY |
- All weekend stays during “summer” season (5/25-9/3) require a 2-night stay except for 3 holidays which are a 3-night minimum (Memorial, July 4, Labor). This includes cabins.
- Halloween weekends (woods of horror) have a 2-night minimum. This includes cabins.

| MAXIMUM STAY |
- Two weeks max on tent or RV camping
- Inquiries on monthly camping must go through General Store
- No more than two weeks of camping for school aged children
|
| RV/TENT UNITS |
- Tent sites may have up to 2 tents on one site or 1 pop-up and 1 tent.
- No extra sleeping units on RV sites. One (1) RV per site. One (1) screened “room” tent is allowed. Families that want to pitch a small kid’s tent please inquire.
- No tents allowed on cabin sites. Families that want to pitch a small kid’s tent please inquire.

| CANCELLATIONS |
- No shows that have not checked in by 9:00 p.m. on scheduled arrival day will lose the site and deposit.
- Cancellations received for campsites 5 days or prior to first day of arrival will receive a full credit toward another day during the current season OR a refund of the deposit minus a $20.00 service fee. Less than 5 days prior will forfeit the entire deposit.
- Cancellations received for cabins 14 days or prior to first day of arrival will receive a full credit toward another day during the current season OR a refund of the deposit minus a $50.00 service fee. Less than 14 days will forfeit the entire deposit.
- Cancellations received for holiday or Halloween weekends forfeit the entire deposit, regardless of when the cancellation is made. “No shows” are charged for the entire 3-day weekend.
